Visionary and Founder of MiYa Chinese, David brings over 30 years of experience in hospitality and restaurant management. He has overseen operations, finance, marketing, and concept creation. A caring leader with a vision for connecting people through food, David is driven by a passion for sharing exceptional Chinese cuisine and building a true sense of community. His love for authentic flavors inspired him to establish MiYa Chinese in Casa Linda, creating a welcoming space where the local community can gather, savor high-quality dishes, and enjoy an enriching dining experience.
As Brand Creator and menu visionary of MiYa, Jia Huang brings her lifelong love of Chinese cuisine, a dedication to attentive hospitality, and a curated selection of great cocktails and fine wines. Growing up in her family’s restaurant in China, Jia was immersed in the art of cooking from a young age. Inspired by both traditional and popular Chinese-American dishes, she crafted MiYa’s menu to offer authentic flavors alongside beloved American favorites. Her goal is to create a fun, relaxed dining experience where guests enjoy high-quality dishes, exceptional hospitality, and a thoughtfully crafted drink menu that enhances every meal.
Our Executive Chef, Wei Lou, is a master of Chinese cuisine with over 20 years of experience, specializing in traditional dumplings, noodles, and Cantonese cooking. Trained at a prestigious culinary school, Chef Lou refined his skills in some of China’s finest restaurants, developing a deep expertise in the art of Cantonese cuisine. Bringing this dedication and passion to every plate at MiYa Chinese, he aims to create memorable dining experiences that honor traditional Chinese flavors. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, sharing his love of food and culture with his family and the broader community.
As General Manager of MiYa, Aaron Crawford brings over 15 years of diverse hospitality experience, progressing from busser to GM with a dedication to excellence at every level. Known for his customer-focused approach, Aaron is passionate about building a cohesive and motivated team that shares his commitment to exceptional service. His deep appreciation for both his team and guests drives him to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere where every guest feels valued. Aaron’s leadership, combined with his dedication to fostering memorable dining experiences, makes him an invaluable part of the MiYa family.
